| Ingredients | 1 cup white sugar Butter the size of an egg (1/3 cup) 2 eggs 1/2 cup sour cream 1 tsp baking soda 1 tsp salt 2 cups flour 2/3 quart blueberries (2-2/3 cups) nutmeg |
| Directions | Preheat oven to 375 Grease 9x9 cake pan In a medium bowl sift together flour, soda and salt. Add 1/2 tsp nutmeg if desired In a large bowl cream butter with sugar. Add eggs, sour cream and blend to combine. Add dry ingredients and stir until just moistened. Batter will be thick. Fold in berries and turn into cake pan. Bake 20 moinutes at 375, then 25 minutes at 350 until golden brown and tests done. Let rest 15 minutes before slicing. |
| Notes | I used yoghurt instead of sour cream, I would cut it with milk next time (1/4 cup each) The batter is very thick but blueberries are juicy and the result is real good |
