| Ingredients | VERSION 1 ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ 1 Cup of Water 1 Cup of Sugar With: 1 lb strawberries or 1 cup cherries, 2 Tbs Vanilla or 1/2 cup Raspberries or 2 tsp cinnamon, 1 tsp nutmeg, 2 tsp cloves, 1 Tbsp vanilla VERSION 2 ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ 1 Cup of Sugar With: 4 cups Watermelon juice (drop water entirely) or 1 cup lemon juice or 1 cup orange juice VERSION 3 ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ 4 Cups blueberries 3/4 Cup water 5 Tbsp sugar 1 Tbsp lemon juice |
| Directions | Take all ingredients and heat mixture in a sauce pan. Bring to a boil, let thicken for 5-10 minutes. Can strain if needed. Can immersion blend if needed. Refrigerate. |
| Notes | Will go moldy after 3 or 4 months. Syrups tend to be rather thick, but very tasty on shaved ice. |
