| Ingredients | 1 cup sugar 1 tsp salt 2 tsp cinnamon 1/2 tsp nutmeg 1/4 tsp cloves 1/2 cup water 2 cups walnut halves |
| Directions | Mix everything but the walnuts in a saucepan. Dissolve sugar. Cook to 238 degrees (soft ball stage). Remove from heat. Add 2 cups walnut halves (pecans work well too). Stir until crystalized. Empty onto wax paper; separate slightly. Let cool. Store in a covered container. |
